Just a few days ago Apple has launched the second edition of Apple TV and Microsoft has Media Center, and now its Google’s turn with Google TV. Logitech launches their vision soon, as does Sony, so once again it’s Apple’s integrated model against Google’s de-coupled software, and only consumer choice can win.
Google has also set up a new http://www.google.com/TV/ site. Now Google TV site seems to fires up ahead of launch.
It seems, new Apple TV can load iOS apps and now users are thinking whether Apple gaming support are in idisguise.

It was reported that the new 2010 Apple TV 2G can be added to the provisioning portal and that means it can install apps.
“You can definitely add an Apple TV to the provisioning portal, and if you give an app a UIDeviceFamily of 3 it will install on it when signed.” Described @stroughtonsmith
Apple Pippin is a video game console / computer that were released around the era of the Apple Newton PDA, while Steve Jobs was ousted from Apple. After few days who knows we can see the headline: “Hacker Turns Apple TV into Game Console.” Do you think iPad iOS 4.2, scheduled to release right before the holiday’s season, has a secret killer feature?
[Via] http://obamapacman.comSooner iPad will be the fastest selling consumer electronics product in history, with initial sales running at three times that of the current record holder: the DVD player. According to reports, Apple has sold three million units in the first 80 days after the iPad’s April release. Currently Apple is selling about 4.5 million units per quarter, Bernstein Research estimates. By comparison, the previous fastest-selling CE device that wasn’t a phone but a DVD player which was sold 350,000 units.
“The iPad did not seem destined to be a runaway product success straight out of the box,” retail analyst Colin McGranahan of Bernstein Research wrote in an investors’ note. “By any account, the iPad is a runaway success of unprecedented proportion.”
As going with the current speed, iPad will become the 4th biggest consumer electronics category by the end of next year, with estimated sales of more than $9 billion in the U.S. It is also possible that iPad can be bigger than game hardware and cell phones, trailing only TVs, smartphones and notebook PCs and these are the current three biggest categories.
Bernstein notes that the iPad is not only cannibalizing sales of netbooks and notebooks, it may also be hurting sales of TVs and digital cameras.

Many Tablet Companies won’t like to take risk launching their products at the time of Apple’s iPad launch and also they will be worried as when one analyst had to say about their chances.
According to Chris Whitmore of Deutsche Bank has issued a note to clients yesterday on the subject of tablet computers in general and iPad in particular, with some predictions that don’t look so healthy for Apple competitors.
“We believe Apple’s lead in the tablet market will prove difficult to close by the onslaught of competing products coming over the next several quarters,” Whitmore stated. “These revelations won’t go well with iPad rivals and chances are that the other Pad maker’s sales can go flat.
Moreover, Whitmore estimated that Apple has a lead of 12-18 months in content and two years in “media acquisition and integration via iTunes.” “What’s troubling for competitors” continues Whitmore, “is Apple’s growing scale advantages and leverage with the supply chain. We expect significant margin pressure among the host of undifferentiated Android-pads as dozens of vendor’s battle for shelf space.”
After this Apple’s iPad has an edge over the rivals Tablets makers.
[Via]Now more numbers of retail outlets are selling the iPad and every day the numbers are growing. Yesterday online giant Amazon began selling iPads, making it the only place other than the Apple Store to offer the popular device online. But sadly for those who prefer buying high-end products online to avoid sales tax, the prices of the iPads are a bit higher at Amazon. The 16GB Wi-Fi model that sells for $499 (plus tax, free shipping) at the Apple Store starts at $544.99 (plus $19.99 shipping) at Amazon.
Well even Amazon and various sellers are offering iPads for various prices, but none of them sound like authorized Apple resellers. Of course, this being Amazon, those prices could have changed by the time you read this. It does seem a bit odd that the home of the Kindle would stock a competing device, but that’s business.
[Via]Now every Tablet Company will do a market research on the device before the launch so that it doesn’t go head-to-head with Apple’s iPad. May be LG is having a second thoughts about it and even the company has put its plans for a tablet on hold.
According to Reuters on Monday that LG has postponed the release of its tablet, citing a delay in obtaining a suitable version of Android. Even the LG official has confirmed with Reuters that the company would not begin production on the tablet until the “most reliable Android version” was available, claiming that the current Android 2.2, is not “the most suitable version for our tablet.”
Moreover, a report from Bloomberg also suggested that LG is waiting for Android 3.0 and which is due next year.
Will the back step from LG leaves the company as inferior to Apple’s iPad, since LG VP of marketing Chang Ma bragged last summer that LG’s “tablet will be better than the iPad” and would be out by the end of the year

Are you ready to go for an iPad for $500 or the untried Samsung Galaxy Tab for almost twice that? We have the reason for that.
Last week we have posted news about Samsung Galaxy Tab arriving soon with a hefty price tag, and yesterday they were confirmed. Now the Official UK pricing for the Galaxy Tab was announced yesterday, and the 7” tablet will be selling for £600 with tax, or $950. UK carriers are expected to offer subsidized contracts that will come with a lower price, but you’re stuck with a two-year commitment and monthly charges. According to reports the Galaxy Tab is expected to go on sale in the UK on November 1.
The people are expecting that the price will be lower when the Galaxy Tab hits the US market later this month, but since the device is not yet available in a Wi-Fi only version, buyers will be locked into 3G contracts.
Moreover, the Wi-Fi only iPad has proven to be the most popular model, contract-weary US customers may pass on the Galaxy Tab for that reason.
[Via]The Comex( JailBreaker) has approved on the Apple App Store exploit to download iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad apps and games. Ok, we have the approval from Gomex but now how to download Apps & Games from Apple App Store?
How do you evade the Apple App Store verification to download apps and games? Here @stabaho describes this old iTunes exploit:

Now on how to “download” iOS Apps with the old iTunes exploit is revealed which is called as’ CASH’. You run the exploit with your credit card and it unlocks apps for download.”
On Sunday people of Arunachal Pradesh staged a strong protest with the Central government over California based Apple’s iPhone4 covering maps depicting the Northeastern Indian state as part of Chinese territory. This didn’t go well with the people of the state; many section of the society shows their concern and displeasure over Apple Company.
The people have every right to protest, as when we look the inside of the story, only then we can understand the situation and sentiment of the people better. The whole area of the Northeastern region of India was neglected by the Central Government and now only after a hue and cry for development and also understanding the potential of the region, the Government has started to give attention to the region. This Northeastern region has been trying hard to make a marked in its own country. Hope you will know what I mean to say.

This is a huge blow to the people of the state and also it has let down their spirit. Well, this is not the first time the Arunachal Pradesh has been shown as part of China but twice in the past two years Google showed the Northeastern state as part of China. Later, Google has admitted its mistake and rectified it for Indian users.
According to Takam Sanjay, Congress party MP in the Lok Sabha from Arunachal Pradesh says, “This is yet another attempt at painting a wrong picture on the territorial integrity of Arunachal Pradesh and we strongly protest this nefarious design.”
The border issue with China was inherited by India from the British colonial rulers, who hosted a 1914 conference with the Tibetan and Chinese governments that set the border in what is now Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh shares a 1,030-km unfenced border with China.
The worst thing is that the dragon country China has never recognized the 1914 boundary, known as the McMahon Line. Moreover, it claims 90,000 sq km as nearly all of Arunachal Pradesh. Even New Delhi has also accuses China of occupying 8,000 sq km of Jammu and Kashmir.
New Delhi has been getting reports of Chinese incursions from the Arunachal Pradesh government t. After the 1962 Sino-Indian War, tension flared again in 1986 with Indian and Chinese forces clashing in the Sumdorong Chu valley of Arunachal Pradesh.
Hope, the other smarthphones makers or the electronics giant don’t make the same mistake again as we can see many smartphones have navigations apps. The international border issue is very serious issue and Apple can’t afford to make such kind of mistake.
[Via] http://economictimes.indiatimes.comIt sure looks like one carrier is almost ready to start selling the Galaxy Tab, since they’re already looking for customers.

Reports are pouring out that several US carriers are going to be offering the Galaxy Tab, but don’t have details like pricing plans yet. However, one carrier the T-Mobile is now hawking the Galaxy on their site and soliciting potential customers to sign up and receive information on the device when it becomes available.
This really shows that they’re ready to sell you one. T-Mobile seems to be aiming for the personal user rather than business market. Since they are emphasizing on games, entertainment and sharing.
You can check out the Galaxy Tab on the T-Mobile site.

New Apple TV (2010) is small, when considering as how much space the internal capability brick takes up, it’s positively tiny. Here’s a look at it compared to the original Apple TV, the iPad, iPhone 4, iPod touch 4, and iPod nano (2010). Did we say it’s tiny yet?
Here is a bunch of shots of the interface, so you can see how similar and yet different it is from the original Apple TV, and from the other iOS devices. The gallery is taken via- applecontrol.com.

If you are trying to cut your SIM card down to a MicroSim, forget the knives or scissors and just order this MicroSIM Cutter. The product is on sale for $12.47 on amazon.
MicroSIM is use in iPhone 4 and iPad 3G, a smaller version of a standard GSM SIM card. DIY SIM to Micro-SIM conversion is free, but harder than it looks. However, if you cut it wrong, you have to go to the wireless store and buy another sim card. So, you better watch out your hand.
Well if you want to minimize the risk breaking a perfectly good sim card, then this is for you. Micro SIM Cutter works similar to a hole puncher. Is very easy to use, you simple need to put your sim card in, press down, and get a pretty good cut.

The picture in the upper right showcase an iPhone 3G coffee table, created by Tuan Nguyen, is made of corrugated cardboard and white glue. Uses iPhone app coasters

Early it was a rumors that Apple are currently working on a touchscreen iMac but here comes the latest update about the testing going on and Apple and the manufacturers will go with. It had been assumed that such a device would launch this year, but now only have a few months left in 2010 so a release is looking less likely as the days, weeks and months pass by.
Sam Oliver from Apple Insider found an interesting article on DigiTimes, where Sintek Photronics sent off some samples of some new hardware to Apple so that they could run tests; it is thought that these capacitive touch panels will be used as the touchscreen panels for the all-in-on iMac.
It was also reported that the panel size will start at 20-inches, but it is not certain if they will go up to the 27-inch size of one of their other displays. Even the diagram on Apple Insider you can clearly see that the device has a unique viewing angle, and will also tilt up and down
