If today you can use Twitter on your iPhone and iPad, you give credit to Loren Brichter, the man who created the official app for Twitter. Ironical, as it may sound but Brichter has left Twitter. Brichter announced via tweet that he was leaving the Mobile team of Twitter.

Motorola wins legal injunction against Apple Inc in Germany
Motorola has won a legal injunction against Apple. This injunction is related to patent infringement lawsuit in Germany. A ruling from Mannheim Regional Court has barred Apple from selling products that infringe on two Motorola Mobility patents that were filed in April 2003. One patents covers 3G, UTMS and GSM. It was unclear what the second patent covers. Though Apple Inc does not seel anything in Germany, this ruling may not affect Apple drastically but it certainly bars Apple from introducing its products in German market.

Motorola revealed the pictures of Motokey Social. This is a feature phone that would focus a lot on Facebook. This phone will have a Facebook button that would simplify the sharing of status updates and images on Facebook.

iPad 2 wins 13 patents of industrial design in China
On 4 November 2011, China’s Hong Kong IP Department granted thirteen new design patents to Apple that were related to iPad 2. These designs cover the photographic as well as illustrative design styles from the iPad 2. The models that were included are in Black, White and 3G.

Google Chairman sees Siri as a competitive threat
Eric Schmidt, the chairman of Google has admitted to the antitrust subcommittee of US Senate he believes that Apple’s development of Siri could be a serious threat to the core business of Google. Describing Siri as a “significant development”, Schmidt said that Google was no longer the dominant player in Internet search and many times, failed to aniticpate the competitive threats.
