Here are the steps that has to be follow in-order to read, copy and also write contacts to one’s iPhone’s SIM card while using SIManager.

Note:Please remember that you must have a Jailbroken device in-order to follow this tutorial.

Step 1.
The first step require you to tap to launch Cydia from your iPhone Springboard and choose Manage from the tabs at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2.
Again tap to select the large Sources button

Step 3.
Press the Edit button (top right of the screen).

Step 4.
Select the Add button at the top left of the screen

Step 5.
Input http://repo.beyouriphone.com then press the Add Source button.

Step 6.
If the source has been successfully included then tap the large Return to Cydia button

Step 7.
Select the Done button to exit Edit mode

Step 8.
Tap to select the BeYouriPhone repository from the list of sources. Again select SIManager from the list of packages. Now tap the Install button at the top right of the screen.

Step 9.
Press the Confirm button to begin installation. Press the Return to Cydia button once the installation has completed.

Step 10.
Press the Home button to return to your Springboard then tap the SIManager icon to launch the application.

Step 11.
Once the program has opened you can use the Setup button at the top left to enable Fast Read as well as set the SIM name format. ie Firstname/Lastname or Lastname/First name.

Step 12.
To read your contacts from the SIM card press the Read from SIM button at the bottom of the screen. Now press to select a contact and choose to Modify, Delete, or Import it.

Step 13.
To add a contact to your SIM card you can press the + button at the bottom of the main screen. Navigate through your contacts and select the one you would like to add.

You will notice that the contact has been added to the list and appears on a green background. This means that when you write to the SIM card this contact will be added and when done the contact now appears on a black background similar to the other contacts in your list.

Step 14.
SIManager also allows you to copy all the contacts on your iPhone to the SIM card. Press the Gear icon at the bottom of the screen then press the large Copy iPhone to SIM button. You will be asked to confirm this action. Press the OK button.

Step 15.
You can also use SIManager to empty your SIM card. Press the Gear icon at the bottom of the screen then press the Empty SIM button. Press the OK button to confirm the action.

Notice all the numbers to be deleted have a red background. Press the Write to SIM button to commit the changes.

Once done your list of contacts on the SIM card will be empty.

MyPasta is great app for people trying their hand on making variety of pasta and knowing the combination recipes for pasta. The app has huge collection of the world’s best pasta. Like “Spaghetti Bolognese”, delicious combinations with seafood and vegetables like “Spinach Noodles with Scallops” or “Penne with Green Asparagus”, to light and refreshing pasta salads.

The app is very well crafted. All details about making different pasta are all there. The app has 105 recipes of pasta. There are six categories which display diverse variety of dishes like classics, Pasta with Seafood, Pasta with Meat, Pasta with Vegetables, Over baked Pasta and finally Pasta with Salads. You can even add favorites recipes and rate them from 1 to 5.

The pictures of the food are of high quality. You can zoom in and out. The app is simple to use and very informative. If you are new in making of pasta and want to know the pasta combination with vegetable then you can select categories and you will find a numbers of recipe and likewise for meat or seafood.

The app also provides a nutritional information per serving. After you select the recipe, tap on the ingredients and follow the steps. The recipes steps are very clear. After selecting the ingredients, you can go to preparation and start making pasta. Every recipe has a preparation time. You can set a timer on resting time( 30 min) and baking time (20 min). You can even enter quick notes. There is special option in ingredients where you can add quantity, unit of the item and name.

You can customize the No .of serving from 1 to 12. After you select the desired No. of serving, automically the ingredients quantity and units will change. Moreover, you can add ingredient for the no. of serving you desired to shopping list and send by e-mail.

MyPasta is a wonderful app. Very informative and many plus point feature, However if the developers can add videos on the recipes then it would a great app.

GV Mobile + is now in the App Store and also offering a full range of Google Voice features but it is only entilted to US iPhone users. This new update marks an interesting transition for the App Store. Earlier GV Mobile was originally approved but slide back due to following of Google Voice debacle, and now returns. This incident was solve when Apple change in terms and publication of their app approval guidelines.

The new version packs even more Google Voice goodness into the app include the following features like dial numbers via Contacts or Favorites and send, receive, and delete SMS. You can even get and delete recent shout history and playback and delete voice mail. Another interesting edition is about taking calls from phones other than iPhone and add, delete, enable, and disable phones

At present Google Voice is only available in the US, though GV Mobile is available internationally.

iPhone supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, delivering push email, calendar, and contacts for business. We get only one possible Exchange-account on our iPhone. With AddExchange (for jailbroken iPhones) you get the ability to add a second Exchange-account. Unfortunately you cannot add a third or more, only two accounts at most. AddExchange can be found through Cydia. After installation you push the plus-button in the application. Then you click on Settings > Mail, Contacts, Agenda > SRV2 and add the seconds account. AddExchange is compatible with iPhone OS 3.0 or higher.

You can delete at any moment, but you’ll have to wait until AddExchange 1.1 arrives. This version should be available any time soon.

This is a quick tip on how to add an extension to a contact’s phone number, so you never have to type this extension ever again.

1. Create or go to an existing contact.

2. Edit his phone number.

3. Make sure the cursor is at the end of the phone number and tap ” + * # ” at the bottom left of the keyboard.

4. Tap “pause”, which will add a space and a coma after the phone number.

5. Enter the extension and click “Save”.

That’s it. Now every time you call this number, you will be directed to the contact’s extension.
