Recently there were rumors that Apple was planning to open some mini-retail stores on some 25 Target locations. Now we are confirming to our readers that the reports are true.

This past Thursday, Target confirmed that it will have 25 stores featuring “special displays” of Apple products.

The details about the pattern of partnership was not provided by Target. However, it is being speculated that this partnership would be on the lines of partnership between Apple and Best Buy where Best Buy has Apple Min-Stores in more than 600 locations.

Me.com and .mac account holders are experiencing strange issues with emails originating from Comcast and Roadrunner domains. Some messages are arriving late while some are not coming at all. Outgoing messages are currently unaffected. According to reports coming on online forums through users, Mac mail, iPhone and online clients are getting affected most. US Senator Richard Durbin, wants a straight shot with the likes of iTunes and Amazon in an effort that could force them to begin collecting local sales tax on all online transactions.

According to CNET, The Direct Marketing Association, which filed suit against the state of Colorado in 2010 to impede a similar law from taking effect, says it will fight Durbin.

“Top executives of Apple’s retail team has paid a visit to Moscow (Russia) last month to make a decision on leasing space inside the trade gallery of the historic and reconstructed Hotel Moskva, just steps away from Red Square, the Kremlin and other historic sites frequented by locals and tourists. The hotel and retail facilities are currently in the final stages of construction, and could open by late 2011 or early 2012.”

ifoAppleStore also made known that a Senior V-P Retail Ron Johnson and V-P Real Estate Bob Bridger has paid a visit to Moscow at the end of March to tour the retail space in the future Four Seasons Hotel.

Apple swept this year’s T3 Gadget Awards 2010, taking five of the top prizes, dubbed “Awards.” The awards were handed out Sunday night in London, and the iPad was chosen Gadget of the Year as well as Innovation of the Year.

Let’s forget those rumors about a 7-inch iPad coming sometime soon or new iPod touch with camera for a while, as it seems to appear like Apple retail store suddenly have a whopping 55-inch iPad in stock.

When we adopt according to the display in App store, it really seems have it. Similar to the giant iPhone 3G/3GS that used to dominate the windows, the new 55-inch iPad shows off the entire photo, web, and other features available on the regular sized device.

The displays sit atop giant sized books, newspapers, and other assorted old media. They picture shows how Apple is positioning the device as something decidedly for the mainstream. I think the size of the new giant iPad seems to occupy more space and only place you can use, will be your home or work place. Is you to decide.

Apple has demand so there are lines of products to be shipped. For the last three years the shipment is tremendously increasing.

Analysts at Susquehanna said there will be increase in the line of products.

When I went through the report the forecast of volumes of shipment is huge.

For the iPhone, the production forecasts are from 14 million units to 18+ million. But still there was consistent shortage of iPhone 4 inventory at Apple stores and there continues to be a three-week shipping delay from Apple’s online store.

On the other hand the iPad shipment forecast estimate of 4.75 million. The sale of iPad increased due to education discounts, tax holidays and many more to mention. And at last the report reveals that Apple with huge capital investments is comfortably has money to invest.

And this lines of products, seems to be never ending with more than 3 million MacBook to be shipped in the year end.

How important do you think that a thing must have a touch of change, innovation or kept up to date? In this drastically changing world it’s a must as far as I think. Things should not be kept constant for long otherwise it will lose it charisma.

Yesterday Apple unveiled a range of new products for the holiday season. One of the products was a redesigned and updated iMac, which we will tell you something about.

The design

You can’t say iMac without mentioning its unique design and the new model is no exception. The very first iMac, iMac G3 was released in 1998 and became famous because it encompassed both the monitor and the central processing unit in a single closure, and it was a desktop computer, not a laptop.

Today the design is totally different, but the concept of a single closure remains and it just gets thinner and thinner, but due to the technological development, it is possible to improve the performance and also make the hardware smaller, and it allows the iMac to contain display, processor, graphics card, hard drive, optical drive, memory, and more inside the closure.

All the ports you need to plug something in to, is on the back of the iMac, which is one continuous aluminum surface, and on the side you’ll find the SuperDrive just above the SD card slot.

The speakers have of course been improved too, and they are now louder, clearer and delivers better bass response.

The inside

Both models offers Intel Core 2 Duo processors up to 3.33GHz, and for the 27 inch iMac you can choose a Quad-core processor with a 2.66GHz Intel Core i5 processor or 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 processor. The graphic is improved, and as standard in the 21.5 inch model you have a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, with possibility to upgrade to ATI Radeon HD4670, which offers 4x faster performance than the NVIDIA card. The ATI Radeon HD4670 is standard in the 27 inch model, but with the 27 inch model you can upgrade to an ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphic card, which is up to 1.8x faster than the standard graphic card.

The new iMac comes with 4GB of 1066MHz DDR3 memory, but there is space in the four SO-DIMM slots for up to 16GB memory, and the hard drives are available from 500GB up to 2TB of storage, and as in any others of Apple’s computers, there is a built-in iSight camera, hidden behind the glass display at the top

The display

The new iMac comes with an LED-backlit widescreen display, perfect for HD video as Apple describes it. You can choose between a 21.5 or 27 inch model and both model have edge-to-edge glass, which covers almost the entire front.

When all you see is the display, nothing gets between you and what’s onscreen. Movies, TV shows, websites, photos — everything looks stunning on the new 16:9 widescreen iMac display.
With the 21.5-inch iMac your resolution can be up to 1920 by 1080 which is the standard of HD, but what about the 27 inch model? Have they just stretched the resolution? No. What they did was to take the resolution beyond HD with 2560 by 1440 pixels, which is 78 percent more pixels than the 21.5 inch model. The view experience has been improved too, with the display technology called in-plane switching (IPS) and it gives the viewer a brighter picture, even if you are viewing from the side.

Another clue has just appeared to a nearly product upgrade on the desktop based Macs. This week, Apple has informed its direct sales channels, that iMac and Mac Mini has entered a period of constraint, but without any official reason.

For instance, Amazon.com, one of the company’s largest authorized Mac dealers, ran out of all four iMac configurations and both Mac mini configurations earlier this month and has shown no signs that a restocking is in order.

This indicates that new desktop based Macs will arrive very soon, but that’s not all because rumors keeps appearing that a new polycarbonate MacBook will come out to the stores too in the near future. We will all look forward and hopefully see a whole new lineup on different Apple products.
