1Password By Agile Web Solutions

Price: $9.99
Category: Productivity
Version 3.5.7

1Password is an amazing productivitity app, and it is also a superior password version out there in the App Store. The app helps user to keep important data without the need to worry about security or data loss. The app has an ability to have multiple password and where you can open them with just command from the user. 1Password Pro is a global application that works with iDevices.

Sometime so many usernames and passwords can create a lot of confusion. But this app keeps it all in one convenient place, under lock and key. And the higher security setting for other things such as bank account information is great.

if you want your to locks your data then you can set a four-digit unlock code and a master password and which you can configure when you wanted to change again.Don’t worry when you happen to loss your mobile or when the device is stolen or misplaced because the app keeps all the your data and information secure from any manipulation.

Tap a saved login and you’re immediately taken to the site, your username and password entered. All you have to do is tap to log in. Some of the popular login templates are Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Gmail, PayPal, Wells Fargo and Yahoo.

The app has an amazing feature i.e available in iOS 4 to make sure that it sync even if you move to another app or lock your iPhone. Whether you use OS X, Windows or Linux,1Password built-in back up & restore feature enables you to safely store an encrypted backup of your data on your computer. User can also copy passwords into other applications or credit card numbers into web forms.

Today at press event, Facebook has announced a new Groups. This groups aim to make things easier and brand social interaction more communal, data portability which sounds like it takes a little of the wall off Facebook’s garden, and application control, which should let you better decide who gets your data.

Here Mashable’s has got it all:

Groups are closed by default (but can be secret or open) and are designed to be spaces where small groups of friends share information, with each group controlled by the entirety of its members — an important new direction for Facebook. The group chat feature is just as it sounds; members can participate in back-and-forth IM conversations with everyone in the group at the same time.

On the data portability front, Facebook has now made it possible to download all of the content and information that you have added to Facebook. This means that you can download your photos, videos, wall posts, conversation threads and status updates.

Ultimately the Facebook update is available in US and for the other users around the globe has to wait. Only thing we can do now is to patiently wait for the announcement. May the update is on the way and when reach will proclaim the news.

The above photo gallery shows that Apple has put together to plug the power of the iPad as used by archaeologists at Pompeii. Well by looking at the shiny iPads on their smart wooden desks in the Apple Store, that using one inside a muddy pit would be a terrible idea. But it is not because it serve them as excellent outdoor computers. The lack of moving parts means fewer chances for dirt to get inside, and the lack of keyboard means you can use the muckiest of fingers and still get your data entered without a problem.

There is also an additional interest like the selection of applications used by real archaeologists in the field. FM Touch for mobile Filemaker databases, iDraw and OmniGraffle for sketching out discoveries and charts

The all new iPhone looks amazing, the feel of the WWDC event would not be over until I have one. Apple has no compromises regarding the eye-appeal factor would always be a 100 percent.

The refreshing deviation from the 3GS to the new one seems great with the addition of video calling, micro SIM, improved battery life and various other improvements. So now you just need decide which one to buy the black or the white one, 16GB or 32GB and a revision regarding what AT&T has in store for us. Nonetheless, I will put forth all the above details and my take too. Just tried to make life simple, a small move. Please feel free to drop in your reactions and comments.

Color Availability:
I am sure you must be knowing this even if you aren’t an Apple fanatic. The iPhone4 is available in two colors – White and Black but not to forget that each color has two different storage capacities (16GB and 32GB). The prices will be different for both storage capacities.

Price:
The prices are $199 for the 16GB and $299 for the 32GB. U.S people need to bond with the folks at AT&T into a two year contract to get an iPhone but if you hate AT&T then you should be ready to pay more.

Price without AT&T contract:
For the 16GB the price is $599 and for the 32GB the price is $699, heavy one?

Wireless Data Plans:
Existing iPhone users need not upgrade to a new plan but there are three different data plans for a new iPhone user which are as follows:

Data Plus: Pay $15 per month and get 200MB
Data Pro: Pay $25 per month and get 2GB
Tethering: Add tethering to the data pro plan for $20 per month. (Data Pro Plan mandatory)

Unlimited Data Plan:
Sadly the unlimited data plan is no longer available but if you under this plan this the same will run until the lapse of contract for a price of $30 per month and this cannot be renewed anymore.

A word of caution: Phone upgrade eligibility:
Before proceeding with anything else just check your contract eligibility and the respective fees to be paid. This applies to 3G and 3GS users who upgrade in 2010 because after 2010 the price would mount to $399 and $499

Our Take:
Statistics reveal that 98% of smartphone users use less than 2GB a month on an average so now you just need to figure out three things, Color, storage capacity and lastly data usage which will result in iPhone4 in your hands
For more detailed information follow AT&T links mentioned below and if you are missing WWDC event then we have a video below which shows the event (iPhone4 release) wrapped in a video of 5 minutes.

Today, the Apple developer community received another Mac OS 10.6.2 build (10C519f), which addresses major issues such as Core Data, video corruption and a problem which caused System Preferences to freeze.

The optical drive issue noted in the first Mac OS X Snow Leopard build (10C514f) however, does not yet seem to have been fixed. We therefore still advise developers and users to consider this, before they update to the latest build of Mac OS 10.6.2 and start testing it. We expect another build to be seeded soon, as there are still major issues left to be addressed.

You can learn how to backup everything you need, from contacts to visual voicemail to videos from 3rd party recorders. But what happens if you iPhone gets bricked, or you restore it w/o any backup or any other similar situation where you loose precious data?

That could be the end of your world…trust me, literally !!! Well, not necessarily. Depending on what you need to recover and your computer skills here are two methods which you can use to recover your data. First method is pretty advanced and dont think that is accessible to everybody. Second method is a much more simpler one, is actually a software you can use to recover your data. But since is a simpler one, that means that is not as complex as the first one, and your recovery capabilities are limited. Still a life saving method.

Don’t be discouraged if you dont understand the first method , really please dont be. If you are interested or maybe passionate , you can use the second method and recover your ass , than you can explore the first method. My advice is to “explore” it on an extra device (if you have one) not your primary iPhone, because you will end up like this :

you keep on trying and trying and you dont succeed and a vein will pop

you wipe out your device

Method 1

What you’ll need:

You can try to ping your computer from your iPhone (using Terminal) and vice versa, just to make sure they can see each other on your LAN. For example: ping 192.168.x.xxx

Next, you’ll want to make sure that you can SSH into your computer from the iPhone. To do that, open Terminal on the iPhone and enter: ssh <username>@<computer-ip>

Where:

<username> is Your user name on the computer.

<computer-ip> is Your computer’s IP address on the LAN.

If that worked, you should be prompted to enter a password for . If the connection times out, then you need to make sure that you have the SSH server running on your computer and make sure that port 22 (the default SSH port) isn’t being blocked by your router’s firewall.

Once you know that your iPhone and the computer are talking to each other, open Terminal on the iPhone and run the following command to begin transferring the iPhone’s “disk” image to your computer (be sure to run this as root using ’su’):

NOTE: Make certain that your iPhone’s screen lock is disabled first. If the screen lock comes on, it will kill the SSH connection. Also, you’ll want to connect your iPhone to its charger. This transfer can take a while.

dd if=/dev/disk0 | ssh @ ‘dd of=iphone-dump.img’

The above command will create a “disk” image of your iPhone (named “iphone-dump.img”) on your computer. Feel free to use a different name or a different destination directory. For example: ‘dd of=/home/username/iphone-dump.img’.

Also, be sure that you don’t mix up the if (input-file) and of (output-file) in the command above.Doing so could wipe-out your iPhone.

Method 2:

It is useful for restoring AppStore applications, SMS histories, contact lists, call histories, photographs and other data that might otherwise be inaccessible. On Windows, the registered version can automatically convert the extracted Apple databases into CSV format, so they can be easily imported into Excel, Outlook, or Webmail.

The backup extractor is free for non-commercial use, although registered users enjoy a number of benefits including faster restores, restoration of multiple files at a time, and automatic export to CSV (Windows only). Commercial (ie. business users) users must register.

iPhone Backup Extractor is a cross-platform software , meaning it will work on OSX, Windows and Linux.

According to the most recent information from Pinch Media, 8.43% of Iphone users have jailbroken their phone. Of course, looking at the complete picture that is a small number of users, especially when you look at the percentage of non-jailbroken users — 91.57%.

But given that, those willing to jailbreak has risen from 8.0% up to the current 8.43% in just the previous week. Knowing that, one cannot help but wonder if the increase has had anything to do with the recent Google Voice controversy and the addition of GV Mobile in Cydia (the unofficial app store).

All in all this is an interesting stat to see, and one that I have not seen before, but one that I am going to try and keep and eye on in the future. According to Just Another iPhone Blog, the percentage of users was under 7% a few weeks back.
