Before going to DFU tutorial, Lets us know what DFU is. DFU is a Device Firmware Update. It initiate when a restore-Recovery Mode doesn’t response and you switch DFU Mode as a last resort.

One thing you need to know is that when placing your iPhone into DFU Mode it does not load the OS before you attempt the restore.

In order to put your iPhone into DFU mode, you can do on iTunes Firmware restore.

Here are the following steps:

Step 1

First you need to open iTunes and connect iPhone to your Mac.

Step 2

Step 2 requires you to press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.

Step 3

Now exactly after 10 seconds, you need to release the Sleep/Wake button. But remember that you don’t leave the Home button because you need to continue holding the home button until your iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.

Step 4

When you are in DFU mode your iPhone screen will be completely black

Note:

Remember that if you see the restore logo, iTunes logo, or any message on the iPhone screen, you are not in DFU mode but standard Recovery Mode. Again, DFU mode is signified by having a completely black screen on the device. if you are not able to crack in the first then a few attempts will get your iPhone into DFU mode.

iPad was displayed on the hit CBS show NCIS yesterday night, helping out with the forensics work, though sporting a red hot skin case rather than the traditional lab jacket.

NCIS has a expanded history of using iPhones going back to the original, and so many shows have iPhones these days and there’s no way like posting of this everyday, but iPad sightings have been far less common to period.

Now is that a sign that’s about to change? Has the TV iPad assault begun?
