Disco, a secret group messaging app from Google has ben updated. The Disco app allows user to receive texts messages through Push notifications.

TechCrunch found out that it is Google’s Slide Team, the team behind the app and website. But there is no extra information on this even the site and app has no record.

Here, is an exciting news for the jailbreaker as because a new Cydia tweak app has landed in Cydia Store. The jailbreak is mainly designed to assist you to gain access to a huge music library that is not available in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.

The interesting Cydia tweak is called SimplePlayer. SimplePlayer provides you a huge music library which isn’t available on your iOS device.

This app also features multitasking where you can use multiple apps at the relevant time. For instance, you can listen to SimplePlayer and at the same time create a document using Google Docs.

Simple Player app is available in the iTunes App Store at the price of $0.99 USD. However this app can be downloaded for free at the Cydia app store. All you do is to have jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch in order to access Cydia and to be able to install this great app.

Magic Fingers for jailbroken iPhones allows you to close an applications with a touch of a finger. This kind of App should also be feature on iOS 4.3.

The customizable tweak allows configuration for a set amount of fingers, when touched on the screen simultaneously, to close an app (say 4 to 5 fingers).

Google has just released a new version of Google Latitude for iPhone

The latest update gets the new check-in feature where you can choose to check in at specific places, such as your favorite restaurant or a park.

The app allows you to see where your friends are, share your location with your friends and also to communicate with them by phone, text message, or email.

Apple has updated its software iOS 4.3, Wired Safari web browser Javascript benchmark. iOS 4.3 uses the new Nitro JavaScript engine which was launched by Apple’s WebKit Open Source Project. Twice as fast performance can be seen on javascript heavy sites.

According to CNET UK, “an increasingly important indication of overall performance. The better a phone or tablet is at dealing with JavaScript, the faster more complicated websites such as Facebook will run, which means your whole experience with the device will feel faster.”
