The latest patent published 2 days back from the Cupertino-based company provides a details working mechanism of the devices and features which include sundry sensors, including reactive and touch sensors, acoustic sensors and more…

Here the patent abstract explains that the hand held devices with multiple touch sensing devices are disclosed. For example the device may be selected from touch panels, touch screens or touch sensitive housings.

According to reports the array of different sensors will allow Apple to get rid of even more buttons and to deliver context-specific controls. For example, if you hold your iPad with one hand then you could see all controls for the device suddenly situate themselves in easy reach of that one hand.

According to Slashgear, the sensors could even be used to identify different users depending on their hand image, common movements and whether they’re left or right handed. Moreover, they could even remove the need for an orientation lock-switch, linking screen rotation to the way that the tablet or handset is being held.

Yes you read it right and clear. In the midst of throat cut competitions among companies, patents are being violated is what says Mr. Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft. And he is not going to spare them, as it seems for now.

He have file case against the mega tech giants like Apple, Google, AOL Inc., eBay Inc., Facebook Inc., Netflix Inc., Office Depot Inc., OfficeMax Inc., Staples Inc., Yahoo Inc. and Google’s YouTube subsidiary.
Here come all the tech companies without which the tech world is null. The reason behind the suit is backed by the violation of patent developed in the Silicon Valley lab of Mr. Allen.

But let me ask you, don’t you think such big and reputed companies must have researched on which subject they are working so that they don’t violate the patent of other company. And I am like… Only God knows!
If I am not wrong Mr. Allen used to be an admirer of Steve Jobs. But when it comes to business and patent everything is fair and nothing is unfair.

Let’s see when the hearing takes place and what amount of damage is recovered by Mr. Allen, though he hasn’t mention any damage amount.

It’s rare case when such mega companies are seen or taken together.

Planning to jailbreak your iPhone, hold on till you read this article. Apple in its latest patent bid has revealed that it could close down jailbroken iPhones with new technology.

The purpose of the patent, published online last week, is to “identify unauthorized users of an electronic device” and either notify the genuine owner or stop the device from working.

The patent mentions that jailbreaking as a way of recognizing an unauthorized user, meaning the company could restrict access to an iPhone if this act was carried out.

“In some embodiments, an unauthorized user can be detected by noting particular activities that can indicate suspicious behavior,” read the patent.

“Activities such as entering an incorrect password a predetermined number of times in a row, hacking of the electronic device, jailbreaking of the electronic device, removing a SIM card from the electronic device, or moving a predetermined distance away from a synced device can be used to detect an unauthorized user.”

We recently also heard that Apple is working on a technology where the iDevice could recognize the heartbeat of the current user and compare it with the one stored and recognize the actual owner. Looks like Apple is really working on a lot of security issues these days, but will it help the users or no is the question to be asked? Please let us know what you feel about this.
