Many of us here are still waiting for an official statement from Samsung on pricing for the Galaxy Tab, but it seems the device is going on sale in Britain for a pretty high sum.
Earlier Galaxy Tab was about to go on sale from November onwards, but Amazon UK is already accepting pre-orders for a whopping £779.99. That’s about $1,248 in US dollars and which seems like a lot, considering the iPad starts at $499.
When the Galaxy debuts in the US, it will be carried by Verizon Wireless, Sprint Nextel, T-Mobile and AT&T. For now there has been no official word on pricing, but the Galaxy in expected to be sold with a 3G data plan for a subsidized price of around $300.

According to computerworld, Apple today reversed its decision earlier in the year that barred developers from using rival programming tools including one that has since been discontinued by Adobe to build applications for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
By this move the developer tool makers rejoice. One analyst said Apple was motivated because of the rapid rise of Android, Google’s mobile operating system and so making it a path for the company to grow in software field to counter act its rival.
Even Adobe welcomed Apple’s turn-about and where they expressed encouragement to see Apple lifting its restrictions on its licensing terms, giving developers the freedom to choose what tools they use to develop applications for Apple devices.
