Attention to all the people who are waiting for iPhone Dev Team to release a software solution to unlock your iPhone because they had launched a Gevey SIM. Gevey Sim is all about a Sim card hack.
For using Gevey SIM, users does not required to jailbreak their iPhone . It initiate by working through the activation of the baseband using the urgrent dialer. iPhone 4 basebands 04.10.01 can be unlocked and also(bundled with iOS 4.3, iOS 4.3.1), 03.10.01 (bundled with iOS 4.2.1), 02.10.04 (bundled with iOS 4.1).

Here are the steps that has to be follow in-order to activate iPhone 3G, 3GS without the need of the original Sim Card.
In-order to follow this, first you are require to download the latest Redsn0w 0.9.6b. Remember that you must have a jailbroken iPhone if you want to activate your iPhone without the use of the original SIM.
Step 1.
The first steps require you to click to open Cydia from the springboard.
Now tap to select Manage -> Sources -> Edit -> Add: http://repo.bingner.com then hit Add sources once you can see the source press done.
Step 2.
Tap the source you have just added or can tap on search and find “Bingner.com repo” once found look under S for SAM and SAMPrefs
Once you found, Press to select and install them.
Step 3.
Again start the latest Redsn0w 0.9.6b6.
Select “Deactivate” option as shown in the screenshot below, which can led your iPhone to revert back to a stock lockdown in order for SAM to function.
Step 4.
Now navigate to Settings > SAM and click “De-Activate iPhone”
Step 5.
Start iTunes. Make sure your iPhone is connected. Allow iTunes to activate your iPhone officially.
Step 6.
Once done, you can see the following message on your iPhone.

Now simply follow the steps posted here to unlock your phone using Ultrasn0w 1.2 so that you can use it on any carrier you like.
