Software

Good news for the users of Mac OS X Lion and iTunes. They would get access to iCloud software before the launch of iOS 5.

These updates would be available to Mac users before 12 October 2011, the release date of iOS 5.

Apple has not officially stated the need for update for its Lion or iTunes software, in order to make it compatible with iCloud. However, Testers of cloud-based services have been using Mac OS X 10.7.2 and iTunes 10.5 that can deliver support.

iCloud and iOS 5 are expected to release on 12 October 2011. Are you ready for iCloud? What do you expect from iCloud? Tell us in the comments section below.

Last week, iH8sn0w has launch Sn0wbreeze 2.5 untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak for iDevice.

Again iH8sn0w released a new version of Sn0wbreeze v2.5.1 to provide full backing for Apple TV 2G, Animate by the Chronic Dev team.

This update is also to fix some issues such as the YouTube problem reported by users who had hacktivated their iPhone. Right now, Sn0wbreeze 2.5.1 does not back iPad 2 as Apple has fixed the jailbreak vulnerability in iOS 4.3.1. Dev team is trying to figure out how to legally distribute Comex’s iOS 4.3 jailbreak for iPad 2 to add support for it.

The newest version of TinyUmbrella, the application that offer you to recieve backups of SHSH blobs (ECID SHSH) has been launch in-order to support iOS 4.3.1.

On his blog, Semaphore-developer of TinyUmbrella revealed the launch of the new version:

TinyUmbrella now supports 4.3.1 for the relevant devices. Currently only iPhone 4 for verizon does not have 4.3.1 support (as there is no 4.3.1 available for the verizon iphone). Enjoy!

Please remember that if you have jailbroken your device then Cydia will instantly store the SHSH blobs (ECID SHSH) as when you launch it. So you don’t need to use TinyUmbrella to take a backup.
