Apple trying its best not to give up the iPad 2 for jailbreakers. Rumors are going on that Apple is working on developing another blocks for iOS 4.31.
Panic with the situation of having latest iOS 4.3. getting jailbroken, Apple have released iOS 4.3.1 that has invulnerability to Jailbreaks. Now Apple is said to be preparing to bring up another patch that will give minor improvements and more on the protection side. The iOS 4.3 only had a couple of days before it was exploited by some of the top iPhone hackers and jailbreakers.
Dev Team also announced that they have the exploits already but are still preparing them for release. Just couple of days ago a new iOs 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak has been released for everyone under PwnageTool and redsnow prepared by the Dev Team using Stefan’s exploit.
Attention to all the users who had Jailbroken your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad using PwnageTool 4.3 for Mac, Sn0wbreeze 2.5 for Windows or Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 which was released two days back by iPhone Dev Team and notice problem as single signal bar etc. then Dev Team announced that a fix will be released in a few days.
MuscleNerd revealed on Twitter:
MuscleNerd: The 4.3.1 issues (signal bars, etc) are fixed http://is.gd/OYktXf but need a few days to test all devices + FW (again: not a new unlock!)
MuscleNerd clarified that Ultrasn0w for iOS 4.3.1 only support iPhone 4 baseband 01.59.00 and iPhone 3G/3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04 and 06.15.00.
MuscleNerd: It’s probably confusing, so worth repeating: this isn’t a new unlock. It’s a compatibility fix for current unlockers only MuscleNerd: (and for those retaining older baseband for resale value even though they don’t use the unlock themselves)
According to the latest report, Dev Team for iPhone has announced that they have managed to fix UltraSn0w issues with iOS 4.3.1. But it will take some time to release the update for those who are on an unlockable baseband.
Note: Remember that this is not a new unlock but an update to UltraSn0w which will allow users already unlocked to update to iOS 4.3.1.
Jailbreak your iDevice, how? Here is something, with which changes are possible in the iDevice application icons, wallpaper, dock, status bar, chat bubbles, weather backgrounds, keyboards and what not.
More than 784,000 iPhone unlocked with UltraSnow. But the recent Ultrasnow updated version 0.9.3 has come up to help unlock iPhone running iOS4. Of course before installing it the iPhone has to be jailbreaked and RedSnow is only the available tool in the market which does that for now.
The new version works for iPhone which has a base band ranging between 04.26.08 via 05.13.04. But the really worry comes when your warranty becomes void after installation.
People have already come up with complains stating that as soon as they install the UltraSnow, no signal warning pop up the screen. If you are going to get one then go to Cydia stores and make yourself clear before adding a repo at the stores keeping in mind the problem showing up with the service.
No doubt the software will help you in customizing your iDevices but negative consequences have also thrown up in the way.
This short tutorial will show you how to unlock your iPhone 3GS using UltraSn0w. Unlocking your iPhone 3GS will allow you to use your it with any cellphone carrier in the US and in the world, assuming they use SIM cards.

After jailbreaking your iPhone 3GS, follow these simple steps to install UltraSn0w:
Launch Cydia.
Add the following source to Cydia repo666.ultrasn0w.com (note there is a “0? in sn0w, not an “o”).
