According to report from Mac Rumors, Yesterday one of their users had sent images which he claimed were the Photos of the next generation iPod touch 5G.

If the report were true then they reveal that the upcoming iPod Touch will come with capacitive home button and it will also offer 128GB of storage ability.

Mac Rumors reports:

“An anonymous reader sent in these images which claim to be photos of a prototype (DVT-1) 5th Generation iPod Touch. According to the submission the front has a capacitive home button, back with markings of DVT-1, and connected volume buttons. The settings also show a 128GB capacity.
Overall, it’s hard to say too much. Each new component seems easily fakeable using existing images. This, and the fact that the submitter is broadcasting it anyone who will listen makes us think its likely fake.”

Some iPad 2 users are reporting problems with their screens. Yellowish spots are appearing under the LCD screen on some new iPads, but this may not be a big concern as one may think.

The same thing happened with some iPhone 4s that were bought around its launch day last year. The problem ended up going away eventually as the bonding agent used to hold the screen to iPhone’s body evaporated.

In order to do that they need the same sort of exploit code a malicious person would need to remotely control the device, and this desire to jailbreak is driving [harmful] exploits.”

Are you are living in an iHouse? Well, if yes then without any doubt we can assume that you got a Mac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad. What about an Apple inspired coffee table?

Here are some of the fruition of iPod and iPhone iFurniture. Let’s look at these.
In the upper left you find an iPhone 4 Coffee Table, described as custom-made with glass and possibly metal “antenna” side

The picture in the upper right showcase an iPhone 3G coffee table, created by Tuan Nguyen, is made of corrugated cardboard and white glue. Uses iPhone app coasters
Now on the lower left you find an iPod 4G Coffee Table created with 30 hours of labor by Ashley Burrows using MDF, pine, & perspex. iPod ear buds as feet.

Last picture, on the extreme lower right you can find an iPod Mini Coffee Table made by Italian industrial designer Mirko Ginepro from corian, glass, and steel

What will make it better? It’ll be awesome if these coffee tables add multi-touch controls for Mac and Apple TV. The Apple products have a lot of creativity and so do the iDevice users.

I guess the new Apple TV would be only for US as for now, may be the others internationally hope to see the shipment by last of September or by first week of October. Apple’s production machine is in full swing and Apple TV makes its global debut that week.

The latest patent published 2 days back from the Cupertino-based company provides a details working mechanism of the devices and features which include sundry sensors, including reactive and touch sensors, acoustic sensors and more…
Here the patent abstract explains that the hand held devices with multiple touch sensing devices are disclosed. For example the device may be selected from touch panels, touch screens or touch sensitive housings.

According to reports the array of different sensors will allow Apple to get rid of even more buttons and to deliver context-specific controls. For example, if you hold your iPad with one hand then you could see all controls for the device suddenly situate themselves in easy reach of that one hand.

According to Slashgear, the sensors could even be used to identify different users depending on their hand image, common movements and whether they’re left or right handed. Moreover, they could even remove the need for an orientation lock-switch, linking screen rotation to the way that the tablet or handset is being held.

I always prefer device which provides better options so that I can switch to another network which offer better service but our comrade of iPhone 4 users in US seems to have lesser option without AT&T.

According to the Apple website, it appears like US users no longer have the option to purchase an iPhone at no commitment pricing. In the US, AT&T is the exclusive carrier. A lot of users prefer to purchase a phone at no commitment price and unlock it for use on T-Mobile. The AT&T websites still seems to be offering the no commitment price for the iPhone. Apparently you must purchase a no commitment iPhone in store. To be frank still I didn’t able to grasp what AT&T trying to convey through this.

AT&T states that they have not made any policy changes on their end so is that just the new reality for Apple in a post Jailbreakme.com world. There are so many factories offering unlocked iPhone 4 in most countries outside the US now and even you can buy online. In USA there is still a big concern about unlocked iPhone 4 because you still need AT&T carriers.

I guess very soon we can hear some change in AT&T policy towards its users. Sorry guys there are not so many options that your iPhone can be happy without AT&T.

The survey untaken by the Yahoo and Resolve Market research brings about exciting and very informative among the women iPad users.

In the initial survey by Yahoo! a couple of weeks after iPad’s initial launch the survey discovered that initial uptakes were generally considered to be wealthy males in their late 30’s and early 40’s and also the results of a new survey by Yahoo! were published a couple of days ago. This new data shows a more interesting demographic and especially when seen alongside a current survey by market Research Company, Resolve Market Research.

Very likely the Yahoo! survey in particular has shown an increase in women users of the iPad. Moreover, initial launch women consumers represented 34% of purchasers whereas this has now increased to nearly half at 49%. The age demographic has remained consistent, with the largest group of up takers still being in the 34 to 44 years age group at 28%. Now the next group is in the 21 to 29 years age group at 19% representing that iPad continues to be a younger person’s device.

According to the survey important revelation discovered by Resolve is that 37% of iPad customers are new to Apple products. The Resolve survey indicates that 49% of iPad users are no longer interested in purchasing an e-reader and on top of this, 38% said they would no longer be buying another gaming device and 32% said they weren’t interested in purchasing a new laptop or notebook.

It really seems iPad to be establishing itself amongst people and within markets that were quite unexpected before the April release. Now if the iPad’s appeal continues to grow then it’ll be turning up in all sorts of new and exciting things.
Thanks

According to reports shown by Forbes Apple has topped the Forbes list of the ‘World’s Most Valuable Brands’. Apparently Apple has won over giants like Microsoft and Coca Cola.

Apple growth is ever dominating! Its not merely about figures but about the magnificent picture that the company portrays in the minds of millions and billions of users. It has faced several setbacks before and bounced back to becomes the world’s most valuable brand- worth $57.4 billion.

The Forbes magazine further indicated, “Apple shows just how a brand can survive and thrive even when a parent company stumbles. Apple’s sales in the late 1990s stands at 46 percent over a four year stretch while the company lost money seven times over eight quarters.’’

The top-notch company is followed by software major Microsoft, with a brand value of $56.6 billion, while the third place is taken by Coca cola with a brand value of $55.4 billion, followed by technology players IBM, now worth $43 billion.

According to the most recent information from Pinch Media, 8.43% of Iphone users have jailbroken their phone. Of course, looking at the complete picture that is a small number of users, especially when you look at the percentage of non-jailbroken users — 91.57%.

But given that, those willing to jailbreak has risen from 8.0% up to the current 8.43% in just the previous week. Knowing that, one cannot help but wonder if the increase has had anything to do with the recent Google Voice controversy and the addition of GV Mobile in Cydia (the unofficial app store).

All in all this is an interesting stat to see, and one that I have not seen before, but one that I am going to try and keep and eye on in the future. According to Just Another iPhone Blog, the percentage of users was under 7% a few weeks back.
