Kanye West tweets on Apple MacBook vs. iPad as bullshit

Kanye West never hide his feeling or emotions to media and also he is very active at Social Networking site with speech and personal though. Well who does not remember about the MTV night where he took away the speech of Taylor swift. Now only yesterday he tweets his thought on iPad 3G vs Apple laptop: “Why don’t they make Macbooks that get online like the Ipad… that’s some bullshit man”

Kanye West is of course referring to the lack of built-in mobile internet option on Apple MacBook / MacBook Pro. Do you think Apple will make MacBook / MacBook Pro with 3G? Mac user Kanye West can probably afford a few of them. Hope the tweets which he posted can be read by some executive at Cupertino.

Will Facebook leave Ping at the altar?

Apple and Facebook were in discussions for 18 months before ultimately failing to come to terms on integrating the world’s most popular social network with Apple’s upstart Ping music service.

Till now the detail of the discussion is not known but the insider reports that Apple may have wanted to build Ping as a music-tracking and sales service on top of Facebook’s social graph. If that’s was done then that could have allowed Apple to get what it wanted out of the relationship like more iTunes and iPod sales without having to build a social network from scratch.

Business Insider notes state that Steve Jobs’ previous assertion about Facebook wanted “onerous” terms doesn’t bode well for near-term reconciliation.

Can Ping be more valuable to you, as whether it could find your friends via Facebook connect?

Old Apple TV without new Apple TV features

I am quite sure many of you are unhappy about the new Apple TV features which will not be available in old Apple TV. Even Ars Technica has confirmed about this whole episode. Moreover, Apple spokesperson has said that the maximum HD resolution of the Apple TV is 720p, consistent with recent rumors. It was also added that there will be no software update to bring the new features to older Apple TVs. Older Apple TVs will continue to work as they have been working up to that point, and they will continue to be able to purchase movies and TV shows even though the new Apple TV is rental-only.

It got every reason to stand as that the old Apple TV runs a variation of OS X (Tiger) on Intel and the new one runs a variation of iOS 4 on Apple A4 and Apple probably don't want to devote any resources to making a distinct update to a now dead system.
Now for those who preferred to be able to sync and buy their media on-device won’t be shedding any tears or trying to avoid any updates that take those features away.

On Tuesday 12 January 2010, Haiti was hit by an earthquake which destroyed the capital Port-au-prince completely, left millions homeless and made more than a hundred thousand deadly victims. The people who are left behind can use all the support they need and therefore the world is coming into action. That includes the independent iPhone developers community and therefore over 60 other iPhone and Mac developers have decided to donate all revenue their apps generate on the 20th of January 2010 to a good cause which is currently aiding the Haitian people.

There are several causes to which app developers are going to donate their revenue. Some include UNICEF, Doctors without borders, …

Small developers don’t make a lot of revenue, but considering there are about 60 involved, you just know that this action will bring in a lot of money for the Haitian people.

So if you decide to buy an App, certainly check out the Indie Relief website and check to see if there isn’t an alternative that will aid Haiti.
